CRAFTSMANSHIP AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
From the start of the project, CEO Georg Leeb and his experienced team played a leading role in the design, layout, stone selection and professional processing and implementation. The client placed the highest value on first-class stone and processing quality as well as masterful precision in craftsmanship. All rooms shine in a light-flooded atmosphere - especially the two-storey foyer with its dreamlike spiral staircase. This abundance of light underlines the deliberate desire for light-colored stone materials. It is a stage for reduction, a setting for the classic, a floor for the new - but it is so much more than just a backdrop: It lives with you, it changes. And yet it remains for eternity.
A KANFANAR STAIRCASE AS AN EYE-CATCHER
The architectural centerpiece is the entrance area with its elegantly curved natural stone staircase made of Kanfanar Crema limestone. This connects the living, sleeping and wellness areas on the first floor with the second floor, while a spacious wine cellar in the basement is dedicated to the owner's passion for wine. Inspired by the Liechtenstein castles, the elaborate staircase shape required formwork that was specially made by a Swiss specialist company. The particular challenge for the stone4you team lay in the fan-shaped design with large, subtly greenish glass panes, which were precisely milled into the brushed Kanfanar limestone - a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. High-growing plants and trees as well as the sun's rays shining through the glass roof set the scene for the opulent Kanfanar staircase thanks to a daily interplay of light and shadow.
EXCLUSIVE MATERIALS IN DETAIL
Especially in the very open living room with dining area and library, the precious Onyx stone was used in the form of 150 x 150 centimeter stone slabs on the walls. In harmony with the Kanfanar Crema stone floors, its subtle yellow lines create a very natural look, while the spacious bathroom between two spacious bedrooms shines in polished Calacatta marble. As in the spa area, absolute minimalism prevails here, bringing out the natural beauty of this exquisite marble with its delicate gray structures on a white background.
In the Private Spa, the superlative private wellness oasis with sauna, relaxation areas and state-of-the-art indoor pool, the popular Travertino Toscano natural stone conjures up Mediterranean flair on the walls. Three different slab thicknesses of 2, 3 and 4 centimetres create a beautiful relief, which is further emphasized by the natural colour variation of the stones. The high-quality Taj Mahal quartzite was selected for the floor surfaces and pool surrounds: it was waterjet-treated and brushed to give it its characteristic porous structure, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
